ECOWAS TRAINS TECHNICAL STAFF OF NON GOVERNMENT ACTORS OF THE REGION

 

A training workshop for NGA technical staff, recently held by ECOWAS in Ouagadougou, aims to strengthen Non-Government Actors’ capacities in order to allow them to answer to the calls for proposals of the European Development Fund, to extend the support and the NGA’s participation to the West African regional integration process.

 During their works, the participants have discussed on eligibility criteria, compliance with the schedule of the Calls for proposals, conceptualizing the proposals, filling out the application for grant, required documents, logical scope, and preparation of the consent, the elaboration of the budget and finally the submission of the proposal.

Thanks to the European Union, this training was held through the Regional Indicative Program (RIP). The RIP aims to contribute do reduce poverty trough a better growth and a regional economic integration of West African countries.
